Deployment Scenarios

Listed below are specific examples of how our team can be utilized for augmentation purposes. Each scenario also details areas of expertise that our team members possess and how these traits help them to complete each task efficiently.

Oversight

This scenario entails management of individuals and/or entire teams. Our team members have extensive experience managing teams both large and small. They also excel at stakeholder management and communication.

Most effective when technical leadership is needed to guide a skilled team and to manage various stakeholders.

Individual Contributor (IC)

The scenario is focused on the deployment of a single skilled resource that may work independently or be embedded within a team. As our team members are experienced and highly technical, this option is best suited for the most challenging situations - if ‘we don’t have time to google our way to a solution’ is part of the ask, this wouldn’t be good fit.

Desirable when hands on keyboard work is required and the possible solutions are extremely complex.

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

This scenario is structured around embedding a skilled resource within an existing team or deployed in other ways to support the uptake of their expertise. We have SMEs specializing in a number of technical fields in both applied mathematics and physics including: AI, biomathematics, bioinformatics, biophysics, medical physics and mathematical statistics. All of our SMEs also specialize in computational biology and/or mathematics.

Ideal when a specific technical background is needed for a project; in general, they can be deployed into any type of management structure (e.g. as an IC or for project oversight).

Parachute

This scenario entails the deployment of single resource into a challenging technical environment with little to no support. Our team members have extensive full-stack experience and can work on all levels of modern compute centric environments thereby allowing them to become effective very quickly after deployment.

Most appropriate when a specific deliverable can only be completed by an individual who has very broad and multifaceted technical capabilities.
